My Supports  To be surrounded by special people who support you will make a difference. Starting from home, my family provided me help to complete and finish my daily tasks by helping me to prepare meals, clean the house, and do some other things need to be done by the end of each day. This support every day is helping me to save more time to do other things and make my day productive. Also, by the end of each day when we share our knowledge, goals, thoughts and learn from each other experiences its help me to complete my task and succeed. The daily support from my coworkers is bushing me to go forward to achieve more goals. When my coworkers educate me by sharing their experience and expertise areas to help me in everyday difficulties that need to be solved. "My Connections to Play."

"My Connections to Play." “Children need the freedom and time to play. Play is not a luxury. Play is a necessity.” ~ Kay Redfield Jamison Essential play items for when I was a child             Play today is definitely different from play in the past. Now researches and practical experiences are approved that play is the key to learning and improving skills. In the past, it is used to focus on academic skills and achievement. But now play is taking a place to reach academic achievement and goals. On the other hand, some teachers believe in  play  and some are not. Even though there were not learning equipment’s, materials, and tools that help to enjoy the play as now. Teachers try to find another's  way  that can help to keep the enjoyment of the play. By creating and recycling some material to be used for play. I still remember when my teacher used to encourage me to play. At that time play was not im...

Testing for Intelligence In my opinion, testing intelligence for children is limiting their intelligence ability and the other areas that they may be good at it. Also, it’s not recognizing their different characters and measuring their intelligence.  On the other hand, some of this test is not giving on the child’s first language which makes it hard to understand the questions and they do not finish all the sections of the test. This causes them to run out of time when they do not understand the content on the test due to the language difference. Furthermore, some children are not comfortable when they take a test they feel scared and nervous so that will affect the result of their test. Also, it affects their self-confidence when they get back the result of the test which makes them look to themselves with less self-esteem.              Girls are taking the assessment test         In other ar...
Consequences of Stress on Children's Development As a child, I experienced two blood-thirsty wars. The first was the war of 1986, a civil war in Yemen over who got to rule. It lasted 20 days, and was very frightening because planes and RPG’s would send missiles everywhere. Furthermore, it was never clear who was on which side of the war due to spies and mistrust. The biggest issue of the war was the lack of water, as we had no water and neither did anyone in the country at the time. The second war was that of 1994, which took place in Yemen; it was the north of Yemen against the inhabitants of the south. Raids from the north would drop bombs, missiles, and explosives down. This shattered our living residence many times, as our glass windows all broke and live bullets came into the windows many times. I was extremely scared in both wars, as I had no idea what war truly was or for what reason it was fought. We could never lie in peace without hearing bullets or feel their impact...

Access to healthy water Access to healthy water is vital to human life itself; so the impact it has on a developing child is of immeasurable size. In fact, a child with no access to healthy water will no doubt become sick. Once the body is troubled with an unhealthy source of water, it will lack the nutrients required for other organs such as the kidney, heart, and brain. Once these deductions become a problem, signals are sent to the brain to help dissolve these problems. However, if the brain is not able to focus on learning and development, the child will constantly fall behind in development and in other categories such as motor skills. An example of this comes from the country of Yemen, where fresh water is extremely scarce. In fact, only about 25% of the population has access to clean water; this means that child development is a huge struggle within the country. Although the conservative culture of the country inspires its children to be tough and to pursue education no m...
